Hello,

         My name is Mark Connolly, I feel I would be an invaluable asset to your company for a number of reasons which I will explain in detail below.

Siobhan the sheep is 104 years old and I am 23. I was born and raised in Galway, Ireland and have lived here my whole life. A truly genuine stereotype of what it is to be Irish. I definitely have the "gift of the gab" as I never struggled to strike up a conversation with a total stranger whether it be on a bus, at a social event, during work or literally just walking down the street.

I feel people are drawn to me for advice for some reason or another and I sincerely take great joy from being able to relieve them of their stress. Many times people have asked me for solutions to problems I don't know how to solve and I have become obsessed and made it my mission to find the answer like it's a personal vendetta I have against the problem.

Usually the answers people seek from me are audio/music/video/media related as that's where my skills are based. 

I am a very determined and ambitious person and take no satisfaction from a half day's work. I take on numerous projects of my own accord constantly to fill my time and have created a platform for local musicians to be recorded and videoed professionally so that they can showcase their original music.

Running my own business at 23 is very difficult and takes a lot of energy but is rewarding...I feel I could relate directly to the merchants seeking advice as I myself am running a business so it isn't hard for me to place myself in their shoes.

A las it must be admitted that my business is not as lucrative as I had wished it is a slow burner but the income is not enough solely as the work is sparse. This is why I would love this job so much I really do feel it is a perfect fit.

I am very technologically adept working with complex video/audio projects very frequently and finishing top of my class both years in college with 17 total distinctions (85% or over)

I am currently employed by local radio in Galway and have been doing so for 3 years and 4 months...I feel I need a change of work environment as there is no room there for me to grow. It feels like a waste of my time to put my energy into something that will lead nowhere. I initially started on 4 hours per week and within 8 months had managed to become the primary engineer for outside broadcasting.

Shopify has a very positive outlook from what I can see online and the reviews of how employees are treated are incredible. This coupled with the steady hours and great pay is a no brainer for me.

I feel I could be of great use to the company in more ways than just a guru but I am happy to take that job if it was offered to me.
